Tonight I went to the opening of a new Japanese restaurant in Norwich, Sakura. They specialise in authentic Yakiniku BBQ style cooking - where you have a hot plate in front of you and you choose your meat and cook it yourself, before dipping it into all of their delicious sauces.
They don't just do that, they do all your traditional Japanese dishes too, including some gorgeous sushi.
Their function room was set up for Christmas already - what a cool alternative office Christmas party!
I totally want these dishes for when I move into my own place!
Sakura is the Japanese for 'cherry blossom'.
