Think Eat Drink

There's nothing better than a girlie catch-up over good food and wine. Our was long overdue so we convened at T.E.D (Think Eat Drink) in Kings Cross for a sustainable, and ethically sourced dinner.

Their menu changes daily, but is focussed around beautiful fish and meat dishes. I plumped for two starters: scallops...

And beetroot and goat's curd.

I was tempted by the squid with curry leaves and cauliflower too!

Oh...and the crab and samphire on sourdough....basically all of it!

We shared a bottle of wine and nattered away, catching up on work developments, love lives and recent holidays.

The atmosphere was perfect for a mid-week after-work dinner; bustly and buzzing, but relaxed at the same time.

Before long, the mains appeared to break up the chatter.

Sea trout...

Pollock...

Steak tartare...

And steak (medium rare)...

Happy faces all round...

T.E.D was masterminded by the founder of Acorn House and the Waterhouse Restaurant in Hoxton, Jamie Grainger-Smith, who also had involvement in Jamie's Fifteen restaurants and the River Cafe. Everything is deliciously fresh, and you can munch away guilt-free as everything is sustainably and ethically sourced.

What's more, the portions are perfectly-sized, and reasonably priced! Thumbs Up!
