Last week I was in Houston, Texas for work and although we spent most of the week in an air-conditioned conference room, we did get to have a little fun!
Sushi at Uchi; the best sushi restaurant in Houston which I cannot recommend enough!! Michelin-style food served on sharing platters for hardly any money at all! We made friends with the servers who brought us plates upon plates of incredibly fresh and inspired Japanese fusion food, not just sushi, but cooked dishes as well. It was absolutely out of this world!! If you're ever in Houston you HAVE to go there! There are hardly any photos as it was gobbled up so quickly!

Turtle-racing at Little Woodrow's in Midtown - the most insanely surreal activity! Downing tequila and betting on which poor creature is going to make it out of the circle first! Only in Texas Baby!
